Beginning a job search is challenging, and BPI Group will help you navigate through this process more efficiently and quickly than you might be able to do on your own. Webinar sessions are available as live, coach-facilitated meetings where you can ask questions and make connections with others who are interested in the same topic.   • 2-Day Transition Workshop - 2 days, 7 hours each
    A complete review of all aspects of conducting a job search in a concentrated two day period. Covers résumé development, interview preparation, job search techniques, use of technology in a job search, job offer negotiations, and how to organize your job search.   • A Career Survival Guide for Today’s Marketplace - 2 hours
    This seminar is designed to provide a unique collection of insights into the ever-changing, always frustrating job search process. The “guide” is comprised of 15 principles (for example, Engaging the Enemy, the Networking Paradox, Detour to Nowhere) that will help you manage your expectations about this crazy ride, as well as encourage you to develop a healthy sense of humor for the journey.   • BPI Solutions - 1 hour

  • Consulting Skills - Could Consulting be Right for You? - 1 hour
    An on-line ‘live’ webinar that provides an overview of what is involved in setting up and operating your own consulting business. Includes discussion on pitfalls to be aware of, working with clients, and pricing considerations. Opportunity to ask questions and get immediate answers. Can be completed at any location with access to phone and Internet.

  • Creating Your Personal Brand - 2 1/2 hours

  • Entrepreneurial Interests - 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours
    A look at the realities of small business ownership, including consulting. Explore the personal attributes and experiences that are best suited to the different avenues of small business ownership. Includes Business Plan discussion.   • Getting Started with LinkedIn - 1 1/2 hours

  • How to Work a Job Fair - 1 1/2 to 2 hours

  • Interviewing Basics - 2 hours

  • Interviewing Lab - 1 1/2 to 2 hours

    You have that coveted job offer in hand - but it’s not perfect. What’s your next move? This seminar discusses the art, strategy and tactics of successfully negotiating a job offer so that both you - and your new company - can arrive at a win-win proposition you’ll both feel good about.   • Job Search Research for Managers and Directors - 1 1/2 hours

  • Jump Start - 2 hours
    Get moving quickly with this jump start on how to begin preparing for your job search. Review of steps and critical components that play into the success of any career transition.   • Maximizing Your Use of LinkedIn - 1 1/2 to 2 hours
    LinkedIn is the number one on-line networking resource for business professionals.   • Networking Fundamentals - 2 hours

  • Peer Search Team Meeting - 1 to 1 1/2 hours (every Wednesday at 9 a.m.)
    A weekly get-together of individuals in transition. Great networking opportunity. We discuss what’s happening with others, what is working, where people are finding employment. Facilitated by BPI coaches.

  • Résumé Critique - 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours
    Bring 5 copies of your completed résumé. This is a working session where you will review critical components of a strong résumé and receive feedback that will help ensure your final résumé is a successful tool to get your foot in the door for interviews.   • Résumé Development - 2 to 3 hours

  • Retirement Life Balance Considerations - 2 1/2 hours
    If you are currently considering ’Retirement’, early or right on time, this seminar will help you take a look at how to think about your time and what you want to do with it.
