JOB DESCRIPTION AND WORKER CHARACTERISTICS Provides instruction, supervision and support (active treatment) for consumers in vocational/non-vocational habilitation sites. This may include supervision of enclaves, job coaching and entrepreneurial projects or specific IP training within the community or in an adult service facility. Provides instruction supervision and support for consumers in achieving goals set in the IP. Assess consumer wants, preferences and desires and communicates these to IPC on ongoing basis. Assures safe, clean and positive environment for consumers and staff Provides personal care assistance as stated in the IP (requires completion of Delegated Nursing training as this may include passing medication). Provides functional activities during periods of non-work. Participates in meetings to develop and implement the Individual Plan (IP) in coordination with the consumer and other members of the IP team. Communicates and prepares reports and evaluations of consumers work and training progress on a daily, quarterly, and yearly basis, as required (includes attendance and payroll). Maintains a positive, effective relation with staff, parents and outside agencies. Responsible for compliance with Board policies and procedures. Provides transportation for consumers as needed (requires completion of VEST training). Perform related duties as required. NOTE: Working conditions may exist that are not such as normally exist in the occupation of the public employee. These conditions may include exposure to bloodborne pathogens, communicable disease, potentially infectious materials, and/or aggressive behavior. Minimum Acceptable Characteristics High School Diploma or GED. Eligible for OD of DD Adult Services registration. Bi-lingual with fluency in conversational Spanish. Extensive knowledge of computer programs such as word, excel, etc. Knowledge of (1) Behavior modification techniques, (2) characteristics of individuals with handicaps. Ability to lift, move or carry clients as prescribed in inservice training. May be required to move materials and maintain forklift license. Ability to (3) work with individuals with MR/DD, (4) work with minimal supervision, (5) work as a team member, (6) work hours required by training program/work flexible hours and/or days (7) May be required to pass delegated nursing training and /or be required to drive and meet Board VEST requirement for transporting consumers in personal or Board owned vehicle. |

The Local 669 Joint Apprenticeship and
Training Committee (JATC) conducts a five year apprenticeship program in all
or part of 46 states in the U.S. for Sprinkler Fitters who are piping
mechanics specializing in Fire Protection. We are very interested in your
help to recruit qualified applicants. We also have excellent insurance,
pension and education plans. The
apprentice’s entry-level rate is based on a percentage of the Journeyman rate
of $32.70 per hour and may increase every six months if
qualified. Previous experience in
construction or related college or military experience may enhance the
entry-level wage. The minimum qualifications for entry into
the Program are: 1.
Must be the age of 18 or over. 2.
Must be a high school graduate
or have G.E.D. 3.
Must be physically fit to
perform the work of the trade. 4.
Must have military discharge
under other than dishonorable conditions, if
applicable. Applications will be accepted five days per week, except
holidays, 52 weeks per year between the hours of 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 -
3:00 p.m. at the contractor/employers address. All completed

The Engineer shall have a minimum of ten (10)

Voice equipment (WSVE), Narrowband Secure Voice Equipment (NSVE), Secure Teletype
Devices, Key Fill Devices, Key Transfer Devices, Communication Privacy
Equipment (CPEs) and Automatic Key Distribution

Must have background and experience with
encryption devices used for military communications as well as bulk encryption
devices for both voice and data. ·
The technician shall be capable of conducting
and documenting On-the-Job Training (OJT), preparing training material and
advising the RSAF regarding OJT. ·
The technician shall have at least one (1)
year of training experience. ·
The Engineer shall have the technical and
administrative ability to work with RSAF personnel as an integrated team, to
train, augment, and support on the operation, maintenance, testing and
trouble shooting of the Cryptographic equipment effectively. ·
Experience with an Original Equipment
Manufacturer (OEM) is required or three (3) years of experience with working
with the RSAF Encryption devices, subsystems and equipment. DUTIES: Support the RSAF Secure Communication Equipment Officer-in-charge by: · Exchanging faulty Cryptographic equipment needing repair at the Squadron / Operational site with a serviceable spare unit. · Forwarding the failed unit to the Central Repair Facility of Secure Comm. equipment for further analysis and repair to the component level. Therefore, the technician must be familiar with standard troubleshooting tools and devices such as Huntron Tracker and General Purpose Electronic Test Equipment (GPETE) for isolating faults to sub-assembly and component level. · Replacing the failed components from the repair parts inventory. · Verifying repaired units and testing the system tested for proper operation before returning to the squadron/operational site. NATIONALITY/SECURITY
CLEARANCE: The Cryptographic Engineer shall have Nationality acceptable to RSAF Security and will require special clearances for working on the Secure Communication Equipment. |
