Information about N-95 Respirators Masks As of Oct. 7, 2009, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) does not recommend the use of N-95 respirator masks in non-healthcare occupational settings for general work activities in the event of a pandemic influenza outbreak. The Company does not require the use of N-95 respirator masks. If you choose to use an N-95 respirator mask, you are doing so on a voluntary basis. OSHA requires that you review the information in the Safety Bulletin “N-95 Respirator Mask for Voluntary Usage – Comfort Use Only.” You may print this Safety Bulletin at the link below. Please sign the form and return as indicated. You also should review the manufacturer’s instructions for your N-95 respirator mask. If you provide your own N-95 respirator mask, be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions. If you are using the 3M N-95 Model 8000, the manufacturer’s instructions are linked below.
